Meet Jamie B. Quynn
My Story
Hi, I’m Jamie B. Quynn, a German-American admissions consultant and SAT coach with experience working with students in the United States, South Korea, and Thailand. Beginning in 2027, I will continue my work from Spain.
Building on more than 20 years of experience in higher education, I now help students strengthen their English, improve their SAT performance, develop powerful essays, and navigate the university application process with confidence.
After growing up in Germany and spending more than three decades building a career in higher education in the United States, I decided to take an unexpected step and move abroad.
I first lived and taught in South Korea before continuing my work in Thailand, where I helped international students prepare applications to universities in the United States and around the world. Working with students from different cultures taught me that although educational systems differ, students everywhere face many of the same challenges.
Starting in spring 2027, I will continue that work from Spain, helping students through online SAT tutoring, university admissions consulting, and essay coaching.
My Philosophy
I believe every student has a story worth telling. My role isn’t to write it for them. Instead, I help them discover it through thoughtful conversation and express it clearly during guided writing sessions. In my sessions, I strive to create a supportive, organized learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and become more confident in themselves and their abilities.

I provide personalized guidance to help students prepare for the Digital English SAT, develop compelling essays, and complete successful U.S. university applications.
SAT English Coaching
I help students strengthen their reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and test-taking strategies to maximize their SAT English score.
College Essay and Application Consulting
I guide students through brainstorming, drafting, revising, and refining essays while helping them stay on track throughout the application process. Consulting includes university selection, review of activities, personal and supplemental essay strategy and development.
