Applying to university is exciting, but it can also be confusing and stressful. Whether you’re preparing for the SAT, writing essays, choosing universities, or completing the common application, I’ll guide you through every step of the process.
At Quynnela, students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed. During individual sessions, I work with each student to prepare for the SAT or to write personal statements and essays to complete university applications.

SAT Coaching
For many students, scoring high on the Reading and Writing section of the SAT, the standardized U.S. college admissions exam, is actually much harder than scoring high in math. I can help them improve their reading, writing, grammar, and test-taking skills with individualized preparation. Sessions focus on each student’s specific strengths and weaknesses, with targeted practice and strategies for improving performance.
Essay Guidance
Deciding what to write about is often much more difficult than the writing itself. I help students develop compelling personal statements and supplemental essays that reflect their authentic voice. From brainstorming and structure through revision and final polishing, I guide students through the process while keeping the writing genuinely their own.
Admissions Consulting
Which schools should you apply to? When are your essays due? What is the activities list, and how do I apply to the Universities of California? During my consulting sessions I will help you navigate school selection, application strategy, timelines, and every step of the application process with expert guidance. Students receive individualized support in building a thoughtful, cohesive application that highlights their strengths and goals.
